Patterson 8U, 6U All-Stars to begin state tourney play

The Patterson 8U and 6U All-Stars will begin Cal-Ripken State Tournament action in Luling Thursday and Friday, respectively.

Morgan City High School had one honorable mention selection on the Louisiana Sports Writers Association Class 4A All-State baseball team.
Senior Maurice Martin was named to the team.

Berwick's Brandon Bravata hired as St. Amant head baseball coach

Berwick High School Baseball Coach Brandon Bravata has announced his resignation, effective July 1, as he will be taking the same job at Class 5A St. Amant High School.
