World Mission holds Free Tennis Camp

World Mission held its seventh annual Free Tennis Camp June 3-6 at Lawrence Park in Morgan City. Youth ages 5-18 were eligible to participate in beginners’ tennis lessons. Some of those attending were, front row from left, Julianne Rideau, Imannie Collins, Uyless Collins and Abdiel Carino. Second row from left are Christina Williams, Chloe Hebert, Claire Hebert, Mari Lewis, Daniela Rivera, Mary Johnson, Joseph Breaux and Nicholas Rideau. Back row from left are volunteers Zion Landry and Reginald Rideau III, U.S. Professional Tennis Association Instructor Patrick Ferry and World Mission President Bishop Jerry T. Hebert. Also participating were Troy Jones, Liam Ellison, Lux Ellison, Lucas Ellison, Ambar Vela and Heidi Vela. Hebert expressed World Mission’s thanks to its sponsors, volunteers, and the city of Morgan City and Mayor Frank “Boo” Grizzaffi for helping make the camp a success.
