Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association holds awards ceremony

The Bayou Horseshoe Pitchers Association held its annual awards ceremony.
The following awards were distributed:
City Champs
—Singles City Champion: Al Dodson.
—Doubles: Tim Gilmore and Jimmy Percle.
—40-foot Sportsman of the Year: Dwain Arceneaux.
—30-foot Sportsman of the Year: Calvin Johnson.
—40-foot Players of the Year: Clyde Landry and Hilton Rhodes (first time a co-player in 23 years).
—30-foot Player of the Year: Tim Gilmore.
Spring League
Champions
—Cornholes: Jimmy Percle, Clyde Landry — Team Captain — and Bryan Phenix.
Fall League Champions
—The Sliders: Calvin Johnson, Dwain Arceneaux and Linda Dodson — Team Captain.
