Mitchell Mancuso and Dru Gros were named Morgan City High School Prom King and Queen during the school’s recent prom. Gros is the daughter of Andy Gros and Kristie Caruso.

Yani Johnson, 23, had a standout game for the Central Catholic Lady Eagles Friday night at home. CCHS defeated the Hanson Memorial Lady Tigers 59-51 in the back-and-forth contest. Johnson had 24 points to lead Central.
