Patterson defeats Lutcher

The Patterson Lumberjacks improved to 4-0 in regular-season District 9-3A action Friday with a 66-48 win against Lutcher at Patterson.
No individual stats were available.
Because it finished 4-0 in the regular season in league play, Patterson clinched the top seed in the District 9-3A tournament, which will be held at St. James beginning Tuesday. The squad will face No. 4 seed Donaldsonville at 7 p.m. The winner of the Patterson-Donaldsonville matchup will meet the winner of the contest between No. 2 E.D. White and No. 3 Lutcher Friday for the tournament and district crown.

South Lafourche
The Morgan City Tigers earned their first District 8-4A victory of the season Thursday as the squad defeated South Lafourche 69-60 in Morgan City.
Nylan Francis led three Tigers in double figures with 25 points. Other Morgan City scorers were as follows: Tyland Boatman, 17; Shemar Naverre, 11; Hilton Hebert, six; Logan Linston, five; Jaquan Gray, three; and Lorenzo Johnson, two.
Morgan City will continue district play Tuesday when it hosts South Terrebonne in a 7 p.m. contest.
Central Catholic routs Covenant Christian
The Central Catholic Eagles routed Covenant Christian Academy 70-30 in District 8-1A action on the road Friday.
Taylor Blanchard led three Eagles in double figures with 23 points. Other Central Catholic scorers were as follows: D.J. Lewis, 18; Kye Morgel, 10; Damondrick Blackburn, six; Davidyione Bias, five; and Vernon Singleton and Nylan Grogan, four each.
Berwick falls
to Donaldsonville
The Berwick Panthers dropped their regular-season finale to Donaldsonville 75-37 in District 9-3A action at Donaldsonville.
Dayton Clark led Berwick with 18 points.
