Donaldsonville defeats Patterson 59-25 in District 9-3A action

Donaldsonville defeated Patterson 59-25 in District 9-3A action at Patterson Friday.
Briyanna Butler led Patterson with 11 points, while Zorrie Spain added seven. Other Patterson scorers were as follows: Nyla Phillips, five; and Kaloni Harris and Lanasia Firmin, one each.
On Feb. 4, Patterson fell to E.D. White 49-29 in District 9-3A action at Patterson.
Firmin led Patterson with nine points. Other Patterson scorers were as follows: Harris, six; Spain and Phillips, five each; and Randalyn Paul, four.
CCHS defeats
Centerville
The Central Catholic Lady Eagles defeated Centerville 86-25 in District 8-1A action in Morgan City Friday.
Yani Johnson led four Lady Eagles in double figures with 23 points. Other Central Catholic scorers were as follows: Kamille Lightfoot, 15; Lexi Landry, 11; Bri'Yannah Johnson, 10; Charlotte Callais, eight; Jade Oliney, six; Caitlyn Picou, five; Laurielle Bias, four; and Rylie Jeau Theriot and Gwenneth Dohmann, two each.
On Feb. 4, Vermilion Catholic defeated Central Catholic 61-52 in Morgan City.
Yani Johnson led Central Catholic with 24 points. Other Central Catholic scorers were as follows: Bias, 13; Landry, six; Oliney, five; and Theriot and Bri'Yannah Johnson, two each
Central Catholic will continue district play Tuesday when it travels to face Hanson Memorial.
Berwick falls
to St. James
The Berwick Lady Panthers fell to St. James 61-37 in District 9-3A action Friday.
Lay Bertrand led Berwick with 18 points. Other Berwick scorers were Lily Eues and Emily Lousteau, six each; Arianna Jones, three; and Bronwyn Colbert and Katy Lousteau, two each.
On Feb. 4, Berwick fell to Lutcher 54-34 on the road in district play.
Bertrand led Berwick with 25 points. Other Berwick scorers were as follows: Colbert, six; Bethanie Coleman, two; and Emily Lousteau, one.
Morgan City falls
to Ellender
The Morgan City Lady Tigers fell to Ellender 62-35 in District 8-4A action in Houma Friday.
On Thursday, Morgan City defeated Jeanerette 48-45 at home, while on Feb. 4, Morgan City fell to Vandebilt Catholic 64-42 in Houma.
No individual stats were available for any of the games.
Morgan City will return to action Tuesday when it travels to face Assumption in district play.
