DEAR ABBY: My 15-year-old granddaughter has lived for the past several years in an environment with adults who have done drugs, can’t or won’t keep a job and are in and out of jail.
DEAR ABBY: My husband and I are retired and financially comfortable. I have my spending money, and he has his. The problem is, he doesn’t want me to spend any money on my granddaughter.
DEAR ABBY: My 7-year-old granddaughter, “Hannah,” is the light of my life. Her mother walked out on her when she was 2, and her mother’s parents don’t know she exists.
DEAR ABBY: My daughter “Scarlet” has a precious 18-month-old baby girl I’ll call Sierra.
DEAR ABBY: My granddaughter, “Emily,” is 13. I have been very involved with her all her life.
