MC Biddy Hoops Closing Ceremonies

The Morgan City Recreation Department recognized its league champs and all-star teams at closing ceremonies Jan. 25 at M.D. Shannon Elementary.

The Skittles, sponsored by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff's Office, won the Morgan City Recreation Department's 6-8-year-old league this season. Team members are, front row from left, Caroline Mancuso, Ella Robinson, Paisley Barbier, Jordin Jackson and Leah Blanco. MCRD softball, T-ball holds closing ceremonies

The Morgan City Recreation Softball and T-ball leagues held closing ceremonies Wednesay at the Morgan City Municipal Auditorium.

The Pelicans were recognized as 7-9-year-old champions in the Berwick/Bayou Vista youth basketball league at closing ceremoies Feb. 26. Team members are, kneeling, Tanner Thornton and Cohen Cline.
