WSM Wolfpack host Walker; Hanson, Franklin hit the road
The undefeated West St. Mary Wolfpack will be the only local team with a home game while the Hanson Tigers and the Franklin Senior High School Hornets hitting the road in Week 5 of the high school football season.
West St. Mary (4-0) will play host to the Walker Panthers of District 4-5A on Friday at 7 p.m. at Wolfpack Stadium. West St. Mary of District 6-2A has strung together a flawless 4-0 record on the season after pinning a 72-22 loss on the Kaplan Pirates last week.
The Hanson Memorial Tigers will take to the road to face Basile on Friday in non-district action.
Hanson (3-1) returns to the road on Friday after suffering its first loss of the season last Thursday while Basile pinned a 39-12 loss on Pine Prairie on Friday.
FRANKLIN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL’S Hornets will hit the road to battle the North Vermilion Patriots in District 9-3A action on Friday at 7 p.m.
WALKER AT WSM
West St. Mary welcomes Walker High School to Wolfpack Stadium on Friday in a non-district contest.
West St. Mary currently leads District 6-2A with a 4-0 overall record.
Walker will make the journey to Baldwin on Friday looking to improve on a 1-3 overall record.
West St. Mary hosts Walker Friday at 7 p.m. at Wolfpack Stadium.
HMS AT BASILE
The Hanson Memorial Tigers will travel to Basile for a non-district contest on Friday.
Hanson heads into Friday’s action with a 3-1 record on the season.
HMS will travel to Basile on Friday for a non-district battle.
The Franklin Senior High Hornets will travel to North Vermilion on Friday for a District 9-3A battle.
Franklin, currently on a two-game winning streak, will take to the road to face off against the NVHS Patriots in league play.
Franklin is holding a 2-2 overall record with a 1-0 league mark while North Vermilion is 1-3 overall and 0-1 in district action.
