Wolfpack, Spartans collide tonight; HMS, FSHS play Friday

West St. Mary plays tonight while the Hanson Memorial Tigers and the Franklin Senior High School Hornets will play on Friday in Week 7 of the local high school football season.

The 4-2 West St. Mary Wolfpack will travel to face the Comeaux Spartans (2-4) tonight in non-district action at Spartan Stadium..

The Hanson Memorial Tigers (4-2, 0-1) will take on the winless Berwick Panthers on Friday for homecoming at McCloskey Field.

The Franklin Hornets (2-4, 1-1) return to District 9-3A action Friday by visiting the Kaplan Pirates in league play at 7 p.m.


The West St. Mary Wolfpack invade Spartan Stadium to battle the Comeaux Spartans tonight at 7 in non-district action.

West St. Mary takes on Comeaux looking to break a two-game losing streak after starting the season with a 4-0 record. In successive weeks, the Wolfpack have dropped games to Walker and Loreauville.

Comeaux is currently 2-4 on the season after winning its first two games of the season before bowing in its last four contests.

West St. Mary travels to face Comeaux tonight at 7 at Spartan Stadium in non-district action.


Hanson Memorial High School will celebrate Homecoming on Friday when the Berwick Panthers invade McCloskey Field.

Hanson (4-2, 0-1) will honor its seniors for Homecoming on Friday against the Berwick Panthers, who are 0-6 on the season.

Hanson hosts Berwick on Friday for homecoming at 7 p.m. at McCloskey Field.


The Franklin Hornets return to District 9-3A action Friday by hitting the road to play the Kaplan Pirates at 7 p.m.

Franklin is currently 2-4 overall with a 1-1 league record. Kaplan is also 2-4 overall with a 1-2 district record.
