Wiggins-Angelo exchange vows
Erin Elizabeth Wiggins and Jason Keith Angelo were united in marriage during a 7 p.m. ceremony Sept. 1 at Cedar Grove Tchoupitoulas Plantation in Waggaman. The Rev. Brian Head officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Rebecca S. Crappell of Bayou Vista and Faron J. Wiggins of Patterson. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald T. Chiasson of Bayou Vista, the late Christopher J. Wiggins, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Sheffield O. Swearingen Sr.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith V. Angelo of Clinton, Miss. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James V. Allen of Raymond, Miss., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Victor J. Angelo Jr.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a sweetheart charmeuse gown with a pick-up skirt. Her single-tier veil was embellished with scattered pearls and crystals along the bottom. She carried a bouquet of plum roses entwined with a rosary belonging to her grandmother, the late Shirley C. Swearingen.
Savery Marino, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kristin Breaux, Serene Hunt, Brynn Crady; Jamie Tucker, sister of the groom; Kimberly Wiggins, sister-in-law of the bride; Laura Oubre, Becky Fontenot and Kristin Percle.
They wore strapless, ruched ball gowns of plum satin. Attendants carried bouquets of plum, turquoise and beige roses interspersed with turquoise aster flowers.
Kellen Tucker, niece of the groom, served as the flower girl. Justin Wiggins Jr., nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.
Allen Hubbard served as best man. Groomsmen were Joshua Halford, Brian Martin, Christopher Matthews; Eric Tucker, brother-in-law of the groom; Justin Wiggins, brother of the bride; Andrew Noble, Taylor Mellon and Richard Matthews.
A reception, given by the bride’s parents, immediately followed.
After the honeymoon to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Bayou Vista.
