Thursday arrests reported
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office made the following arrests overnight, according to Sheriff Mark Hebert:
—Andrew K. Storm, 19, of La. 182, Franklin, arrested at SMPSO headquarters at 11:43 a.m. Thursday for criminal damage to property by defacing with graffiti. He had been summoned for questioning in reference to graffiti at a shopping center in Bayou Vista. Department officials refused to identify the shopping center. Issued summons to appear in court Oct. 4.
—Rachel Fabre, 27, of Sydney Jo Lane, Berwick, arrested at 12:12 p.m. Thursday at a residence on Francis Street in Berwick and Aubrey Daigle Jr., 36, of Francis Street, Berwick, arrested at the Sheriff’s Department for simple burglary. Fabre and Daigle were developed as suspects in a vehicle burglary at a lounge in Berwick after deputies viewed surveillance footage of the crime. Both are incarcerated with no bond set.
—Rebecca M. Moran, 22, of La. 182 E, Morgan City, arrested at 12:52 a.m. today at Teche Regional Medical Center for cruelty to a juvenile. She is alleged to have struck the victim with a belt. Booked and incarcerated into the parish jail with no bond set.
The Patterson Police Department reported the following arrests overnight, according to Chief Patrick LaSalle:
—Lawrence Butler, 41, of North Prairie Road, Centerville, arrested at Camille Drive and Waveland Street at 9:24 p.m. Thursday for suspended driver’s license after a stop sign violation. Released on a $466 bond.
—Carlos Cepedes, 45, of Gabriel Street, Patterson, arrested at home at 10:27 Thursday for aggravated second degree battery domestic. Remains incarcerated with no bond set.
Berwick Police made one arrest overnight, according to Chief James Richard:
—Shandace Latrice Harris, 23, of Barrow Street, Morgan City, arrested at 7 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for simple battery after being transported by the Patterson Police Department. Remains incarcerated with bond set at $250.
The Morgan City Police Department made one arrest over the last 48 hours, according to Chief Marc Folse:
—Blair Johnson, 23, of Billie Street, Belle Rose, arrested at 1145 a.m. Wednesday on warrants for failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia and attempted inhalation of toxic vapors. Remains incarcerated with no bond set.
