CCHS fishing team competes in tournament

Central Catholic’s first high school fishing team competed in the Louisiana High School Bassmasters Fall Qualifier Oct. 15. A record 131 teams competed in the season’s first tournament on the Red River in north Louisiana. It was a tough day of fishing, the Red River was much lower than usual and conditions were challenging. Ascension Episcopal eliminates CCHS in Division IV semifinals

CCHS Lady Eagles split games Wednesday

Central Catholic split its basketball games Wednesday, dropping its finale at Lafayette Christian Academy's tournament to Acadiana, while bouncing back later in the day to defeat Catholic High of New Iberia.
