Snickers edged Sweet Tarts 11-10 in Morgan City Recreation Department youth softball action Tuesday at Shaw Park.

Haylie Crappell led Snickers with a 1-for-1 performance with a double and two runs, while Mary Frances Vincent and Aja’Laia Hamilton both finished 1-for-1 with a walk and two runs.

Julianna Hernandez led Sweet Tarts with a 2-for-2 performance with a run, while Key’ala Hawkins and Sara Jane Nini both finished 1-for-2 with a run.

Bordens 17, Candy Fleet 3

Olivia Black, Presley Bruni and Sarah David each finished 4-for-4 as Borden’s defeated Candy Fleet in youth softball action Tuesday at Shaw Park.

Bruni and David also scored four runs, while David scored three.

Sabriena Madison finished 2-for-2 for Candy Fleet, while Hallie Crappell was 2-for-3 with two runs.

Snickers 5, Red Hots 5

Snickers and Red Hots played to a 5-all tie in youth softball action at Shaw Park Monday.

Haylie Crappell finished 1-for-1 with a walk, while Anaria Clark and Lana Whittington each walked and scored a run.

For Red Hots, Catherine Autrey was 1-for-2 with a run, while Paytin Taylor had two walks and a run and Jamia Francois, two walks.

Sweet Tarts and Red Hots played to a tie in action Saturday.

Daja Singleton and Madeline Albritton each finished 2-for-2 with two runs for Sweet Tarts.

For Red Hots, Jamia Francois and Terre’yan Johnson each were 3-for-3 with two runs, while Catherine Autrey and Paytin Taylor were both 2-for-2 with two runs.
