Sherry Ann Brennan
Sherry Ann Brennan, 73,of Loranger, passed away Friday, May 25, 2012, at Ochsner on Elmwood.
She was born on Sunday, December 11, 1938, in Morgan City, daughter of the late Elves and Alice Ledet Barbier.
Surviving are son and daughter-in-law, John and Becky Brennan of Houma; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Darlene Brennan of Thibodaux; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Hilda Brennan of Arnaudville; sister, Jeanette Barbier Clements; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Emile and Carolyn Barbier and O.J. and Kathelene Barbier; sisters-in-law, Maxine, Connie and Dean; four grandchildren, Melissa Brennan Jackson and husband Paul, Kristen Brennan Verzwyvelt and husband Trevor, Ross Brennan and Joseph Brennan; great-grandchild, Brennan Jackson; also, numerous nieces and nephews.
She also was survived by an extended family in the Loranger community, where she was referred to as “Maw Sherry.”
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Brennan; a son, Troy Brennan; two sisters, Melvia Wilson and Gloria Delaune; three brothers, Elves “Sneak” Barbier, Maurice “Moe” Barbier, and Whitney Barbier.
Friends were received Sunday, May 27, 2012, 6-10 p.m. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond.
A visitation also was held at St. Dominic Catholic Church, Monday, May 28, 2012, from 9 a.m. until Mass at 11 a.m.
Interment was in St. Dominic Catholic Church Cemetery in Husser.
