Sanders-Freyoux exchange vows at Holy Cross

Katelyn Elizabeth Sanders and Nolan Luke Freyoux III exchanged wedding vows Jan. 14 during a 7 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. The Rev. Danny Poche’ officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gordon and Carla Sanders of Patterson. The groom is the son of Johnny and Jelena Winters of Bayou Vista and Nolan Freyoux Jr. of Amelia.

For the ceremony, two large arrangements of pink and white snapdragons accented with white birch branches adorned the altar. Pew markers were large ivory silk organza and tulle bows.

Music was by violinist Harry Hardin and vocalist Kristen Wiggins.

Readers were Misty Bailey and Jennifer Lodrigue, sister of the groom. Giftbearers were Mona Blanco, grandmother of the bride, and Doris Lodrigue, grandmother of the groom.

Program attendants were Chasity Fontenot and Kimberly Sanders, sister-in-law of the bride.

Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white, strapless gown of full length taffeta fashioned with a sweetheart neckline, a drop waist adorned with a broach at the hip and a bodice embellished with pearls, crystal beading and rhinestones. The train was chapel length.

Her fingertip veil of tulle was finished with pearls and crystal beading.

She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ivory peonies, pearl hydrangeas and ranunculus. Entwined in the bouquet was her mother’s crystal rosary and Mona Blanco’s Virgin Mary medal.

Lindsay Primeaux was maid of honor and Karrie Blanco, cousin of the bride, was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Misty Bailey, Jaci Hamm, Rikki Landry, Kristen Wiggins, cousin of the groom and Jennifer Lodrigue. Genevive Breckoff, godchild of the groom, was junior bridesmaid.

Bridal attendants each wore a different-style, floor-length gown in serene blue.

They carried clutch bouquets of pearl and antique mauve hydrangeas.

Flower girl Emily Breckoff, niece of the groom, carried a pomander of pearl hydrangeas.

Ringbearer was Luke David.

Blaine Lenzner served as best man. Groomsmen were Beau Sanders, brother of the bride; Jacob Hudson, cousin of the groom; Kyle Andreasen, Leo Landry III, and Brad Wiggins and Joshua Hudson, cousins of the groom.

Ushers were Joshua Bailey and Andrew Breckoff, nephew of the groom.

A reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.

Tables were decorated with tall cylinder vases filled with snow and silver birch branches, hourglass vases with pearl vase fillers and floating candles.

The sign-in table held an arrangement of winter white roses and silver birch branches.

The bride’s cake was a four-tiered confection in ivory fondant. The middle tier contained the couple’s initials. Topping the confection was pearl hydrangeas.

The groom’s chocolate cake depicted a four-wheeler scene and was created by Doris Lodrigue.

Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Café JoJo’s in Morgan City.

The bride is a graduate of Patterson High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodaux with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

The groom is a graduate of PHS and serves in the U.S. Navy where he is stationed in Virginia Beach, Va.

They honeymooned in St. Lucia and reside in Virginia Beach, Va.
