Rulf-Chauvin exchange vows May 26
Lesley A. Rulf and Gildon D. Chauvin exchanged wedding vows May 26 during a 5:30 p.m. double-ring ceremony at Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort at Spa at Providenciales.
The bride is the daughter of Leslie and Wendy Rulf of Patterson. The groom is the son of Kammy Boudreaux of Bayou Vista and Wendell Chauvin of Berwick.
For the beach ceremony, the bride was escorted in marriage by her father. She was attired in a strapless gown designed with a corset bodice embellished with Swarovski crystals around the waist.
She carried a bouquet of bright-colored roses, calla lilies, cymbidium orchids and chrysanthemums.
Sara Rulf was her sister’s main of honor. She wore a street-length yellow dress and wore a yellow rose in her hair.
Jaleigh Chauvin, daughter of the groom, was flower girl.
Ringbearers were Owen Businelle, Zack Billiot and Conner Billiot.
Jake Hunt served as best man.
A reception followed on the wharf overlooking the beach.
The wedding cake was a two-tiered confection of chocolate rum cake and white buttercream icing.
Prior to the wedding, a rehearsal dinner was held at the resort’s private garden area. Table linens were white and chairs were adorned with blue bows. Centerpieces were of seashells and fresh pink flowers.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Patterson High School. She is employed by Oceaneering International.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Berwick High School. He is owner of Chauvin’s Patios, Screen Rooms and Gutters.
They reside in Patterson.
