Police Reports 9-19-12
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning.
Edward Henderson, 54, of 639 Utah St., Berwick, was arrested Tuesday at 8:03 a.m. on a warrant charging him with possession of marijuana and license plate light violation. He was released on $2,250 bond.
Randy Paul, 32, of No. 2 Shepard Lane, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 1:40 p.m. on a charge of texting while driving. He was reportedly doing so while driving a school bus with children aboard. Paul was released on a summons.
Juvenile female, 14 and 15, were arrested Tuesday at 4:18 p.m. on charges of disturbing the peace by fighting. Also arrested was Brandi Rachael Jones, 32, of 104 Jordin Lane, Bayou Vista, on a charge of disturbing the peace by language. The juveniles were released to guardians and Jones on $250 bond.
A juvenile female, 14, was arrested Tuesday at 4:01 p.m. on a warrant charging her with simple battery. She was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Dwight Collins, 34, of 108 Collins Lane, Charenton, was arrested Tuesday on a leash law violation. He was released on a summons.
The St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Ray Chaisson Jr., 21, of 4281 Francis St., Berwick, Tuesday at 4:10 p.m. on charges of possession of synthetic marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and abuse of toxic vapors. He was released on a summons.
Joshua Pellissier, 26, of 183 Aucoin St., Amelia, was arrested Tuesday at 5:25 p.m. on warrants charging him with distribution of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession in the presence of a juvenile. No bond was set.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported that investigators with the Franklin Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Technology Unit, along with the assistance from the Louisiana State Police, Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office and Abbeville Police Department conducted a joint investigation and was able to identify and arrest Stacy Michael Meaux, 46, of 1404 Maude Avenue, Abbeville on charges of indecent behavior with juveniles and computer aided solicitation of minors for sexual purposes.
Detectives conducted an online investigation posing as a 15-year-old female juvenile via the Internet.
Meaux is also charged by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Office- on warrants for indecent behavior with juveniles. He was arrested by the Abbeville Police Department and was transported to the Franklin Police Department where he is being held with no bond set.
Dea’Zhone Baker, 18, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 8:54 p.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of criminal trespassing. He was held on $332 bond.
Alfred Kinchen, 50, of Antigo Alley, Franklin, was arrested Monday at 9:30 a.m. on a warrant charging him with obstruction of justice and accessory to shoplifting. He was released on $6,000 bond.
Curtis Peters, 46, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested Tuesday at 12:46 p.m. on a charge of driving under suspension. No bond was set.
A male juvenile, age 14, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of simple battery. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
