Police Reports 8-24-12
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:
Dina Ray Bailey, 44, of 124 Laura Drive, Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 10:05 a.m. on a warrant charging her with issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.
Four parish inmates were arrested Thursday at 3:29 p.m. on charges of simple battery and theft under $500 after reportedly attacking another inmate and stealing from him. He was treated at Franklin Foundation Hospital for a black eye and busted lip. Arrested were Murray Bridget, 33, James Jones, 26, Claude Charlot III, 19 and Kirk Pollard, 19, all of Patterson.
A juvenile male, 16, of Berwick was arrested Thursday at 4:51 p.m. on a charge of theft. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Bethany Nicole Mecom, 20, of 325 Tiffany St., Patterson, was arrested Thursday at 10:35 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana and synthetic marijuana. She was released on $4,000 bond.
Sheriff’s narcotics agents arrested Wosha Anthony Ruffin, 34, of Baton Rouge, Thursday at 1:44 p.m. on charges of transactions involving drug proceeds, reckless operation and a warrant charging him with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Agents seized $90,594 in cash and Ruffin’s motorcycle. No bond was set, and more arrests are possible as the investigation continues.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Keenze Howard, 46, of Ninth Street, Franklin, Thursday at 2:18 p.m. on charges of two counts of resisting by flight. He was held on $2,000 bond.
Stefanie L. Boudreaux, 41, of Chatsworth Road, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 3:38 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. She was released on $1,000 bond.
Johan Thomas Madison, 18, of Clark Street, Franklin, was arrested Thursday at 5:31 p.m. on warrants charging him with criminal mischief and disturbing the peace by alarming the public. He was released to appear in court.
Reginald Henry Johnson, 49, of Ninth Street, Franklin, was arrested today at 1:35 a.m. on charges of driving under suspension and failure to report an accident. No bond was set.
A 14-year-old male was arrested Wednesday on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
