Police Reports 8-16-12

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Darrell Riggins Jr., 23, of 1220 Columbus Avenue, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 9:43 a.m. on a warrant charging him with obscenity, disturbing the peace and resisting an officer. No bond was set.

Khyri Fullwood, 17, of 1512 Plum St., Patterson, was arrested Wednesday at 10:07 a.m. on a charge of theft. Fullwood was released on a summons.

Keelta Junnifer, 21, of 426 Idaho St., Morgan City, was arrested Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. on a warrant charging her with simple criminal damage to property. She was released on $3,500 bond.

Martha Ford, 47, of 107 Friendship Alley, was arrested Wednesday at 11:08 a.m. on warrants charging her with two counts of aggravated assault and extortion. No bond was set.

Joshua Ray Brown, 27, of 123 Palmer St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 2:17 p.m. on a Terrebonne Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear. He was held with no bond set.

Kirk A. Sparrow, 42, of 715 McArthur Drive, Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 2:56 p.m. on a warrant charging him with probation violation. No bond was set.

Joshua Glen Miles Jones, 215 Lacy Road, Franklin, was arrested Wednesday at 3:05 p.m. on a charge of theft. No bond was set.

Jesse Michael-Glen Vinson, 18, of Enterprise, La., was arrested Wednesday at 3:10 p.m. on a Caldwell Parish warrant charging him with indecent behavior with juveniles. No bond was set and Vinson was transferred.

Neal Landry, 54, of 20427 U.S. 90, Jeanerette, was arrested Wednesday at 3:34 p.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal trespassing. He was released on a summons.

Doug Dilsaver, 29, of 112 Moon Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Wednesday at 9:21 p.m. on a charge of theft. He was released on a summons.

Devonne Peters, no age given, of 602 Iberia St., Franklin, was arrested Wednesday on a Lafayette Parish warrant charging him with simple arson. No bond was set.

Dwayne Antoine Collins, 35, of 1312 Martin Luther King Road, Charenton, was arrested today on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated. He was held on $250 bond.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported that investigators with the Franklin Police Department Criminal Investigations Division Technology Unit, with the assistance from the Louisiana State Police and the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office, conducted a joint investigation that resulted in the arrest of Zachary Louis Stephens, 22, of Leesville.

He was charged with two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles, attempted possession of pornography involving juveniles and two counts of computer-aided solicitation of minors for sexual purposes.

Detectives received information of illegal activity involving Stephens and a 16-year-old juvenile via the internet.

Stephens was arrested by the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office and was transported to the Franklin Police Department where he is being held with no bond.

In an unrelated arrest, Quincy Johnson, 36, of Labau Street, Baldwin, was arrested Wednesday at 11:19 p.m. on a warrant charging him with criminal damage to property. He was also charged with resisting an officer by giving false information and open alcohol container. He was held on $2,500 bond.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrest of John Jackson, 61, of Baldwin, today at 4 a.m. on a charge of criminal trespassing and a St. Mary Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of criminal trespassing. No bond was set.
