Police Reports 7-16-12

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests this morning:

Edin Omar Soto Suazo, 25, of 547 Railroad Avenue, Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 2:34 p.m. on charges of careless operation and operating a vehicle without a lawful presence in the country. No bond was set.

Bryson Skinner, 18, of 1061 Grace St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 6:52 p.m. on a Morgan City warrant charging him with illegal use of a weapon and possession of a firearm in a firearm free zone. He was turned over to Morgan City police.

Elias F. Todd, 18, of 427 La. 182, Bayou Vista, was arrested Saturday at 12:28 a.m. on charges of possession of Schedule II and IV narcotics. No bond was set.

Roderick Rodriguez, 40, of 9365 La. 182, Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 5:56 p.m. on charges of aggravated assault, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile and driving under suspension. He was released on $3,000 bond.

Jeremy D. Wilson, 33, of 135 Barrone St., Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 4:28 a.m. on a charge of fourth-offense possession of marijuana. No bond was set.

Edward G. Delone Jr., 39, of New Iberia, was arrested Sunday at 4:08 a.m. on charges of illegal possession of stolen things and driving under suspension. No bond was set.

Jason W. Johnson, 33, of 912 10th St., Franklin, and Anson T. Paul, 35, of 407 Liner St., Franklin, were arrested Sunday at 5:31 p.m. on charges of theft of goods. Both were released on $1,000 bonds.

Gary L. Smith, 52, of 2137 Becnel St., Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:52 p.m. on charges of possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number, possession of Schedule II narcotics and possession of a legend drug. No bond was set.

Dwayne Harmon, 33, of 770 Penn Road North, Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 11:02 p.m. on an Iberia Parish warrant charging him with failure to appear on a charge of following too close. He was released to Iberia authorities.

The St. Mary Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division reported the arrest of Jamie M. Williams, 26, of 1305 Burke Place Lane, Bayou Vista, today at 12:44 a.m. on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile, violation of a drug free zone, improper lane use, three counts of distribution of marijuana, distribution of Ecstasy and five counts of introduction of contraband into a jail. No bond was set.

Chitimacha Police Chief Blaise Smith reported the arrests of Jeremy Picard, 32, and Renelle Picard, 31, of New Iberia, Saturday on charges of remaining where forbidden. Jeremy Picard was also charged with disturbing the peace intoxicated. Both were held with no bonds set.

Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Tommy Dennis Morgan Jr., 22, of Verdunville Road, Franklin, Friday at 2:02 p.m. on warrants charging him with failure to appear on a charge of driving under suspension, and disturbing the peace by offensive words. He was held on $1,315 bond.

Clyde Darby Jr., 25, of Grace Street., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 7:40 p.m. on warrants charging him with simple battery and resisting an officer by flight. He was held on $1,500 bond.

Carlon James Gonsoulin, 22, of Rose Road, Centerville, was arrested Saturday at 1:05 a.m. on warrants charging him with theft under $100 and probation violation. No bond was set.

Courtney Vontrell McBride, 22, of Lockett Street, Baldwin, was arrested Saturday at 2:40 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. He was released on a $250 bond.

Michelle Antoinette Fernandez, 31, of Seventh Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 2:40 a.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace by fighting. She was released on $250 bond.

Sadara Victoria Boatman, 24, of Ash Street, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:04 p.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on a charge of simple battery. She was released on $20,000 bond.

Raymond J. Levine, 52, of Irish Bend Road, Franklin, was arrested Saturday at 9:12 p.m. on a state warrant charging him with parole violation. No bond was set.

Ricky Paul Businelle, 40, of Trowbridge Street, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 4:08 a.m. on a charge of simple burglary. No bond was set.

John Freeman Jr., 61, of St. Joseph Lane, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 6:57 a.m. on a warrant charging him with failure to appear on traffic charges. He was held on $3,500 bond.

Bernard Charles, 42, of Martin Luther King Boulevard, Franklin, was arrested Sunday at 1:28 p.m. on a charge of obscenity. He was released on $500 bond.
