Mary Lucille Mouton, 83, a native of Maurice, La. and a resident of Morgan City, died Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 7 a.m., at her residence.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 18, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel, 715 Sixth St. in Morgan City, from 7 a.m. until Rosary and Wake Services beginning at 11 a.m., with a Mass of Christian burial beginning at 1 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City, with Father Gregory Fratt officiating the services. Burial services will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
Mrs. Lucille leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Clarence (Irene) Mouton Jr. of Patterson and Steve (Sheila) Mouton Sr. of Morgan City; two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Katherine) Singleton of Amelia and Mrs. Ralph (Mary Cecile) Bartley of El Paso, Texas; two brothers, Roland (Irene) St. Julien of Lafayette and Sterling (Ida) St. Julien of Maurice; seven grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and seven other great grandchildren that she embraced as her own.
Mrs. Lucille was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband, one daughter, one sister and five brothers.
The Mouton family would like to thank the staff of Terrebonne General Hospital and St. Joseph Hospice for the great care they gave to their beloved mother.
