Everett Noel “Pop” Driskill Sr.

March 4, 1935 — May 10, 2014
Everett Noel “Pop” Driskill Sr., a lifelong resident of Berwick, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, May 10, 2014, at the age of 79.
Everett was a faithful member of Twin City Gospel Temple for many years. An outdoorsman, Everett loved to hunt, fish, trap and spend time at the camp. He took great pride in passing on to all his children and grandchildren the right way to be an outdoorsman. Everett was a jack of all trades. He was a home builder, a construction foreman at Berry Brothers, a commercial fisherman, and crabber. He made his own nets and crab traps. He enjoyed life and did his best to live and make the most of every day.
Everett is survived by his daughters Delilah Dupuis and her husband, Forest, and Stephanie DeHart and her husband, Harris; his sons, Everett Jr. and his wife, Sheila, and Troy and his wife, Frances; brothers, Tilton “Peewee” Driskill Jr. and his wife, Jeanette, and Henry “Butch” Driskill and his wife, Beverly; one brother-in-law, Herbert Menard; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Everett was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Della Granier Driskill; his parents, Tilton Driskill Sr. and Florence Robin; sisters, Winifred Menard and Madilyn Bancroft; and one grandson, Christopher Blair.
Visitation will be held today, Monday, May 12, 2014, at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. at Twin City Gospel Temple and resumes at the church Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at 8 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m. Everett will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum.
