January 14, 1940 — July 18, 2014
Carolyn Robicheaux Larive, 74, a resident of Berwick passed away Friday, July 18, 2014, at her home.
Carolyn was born on Jan. 14, 1940, in Berwick, the daughter of Adam and Lucille Hays Robicheaux.
Carolyn was always dedicated to her church and volunteered for whatever work needed to be done. As a woman of strong faith, she was dedicated to her local prayer chain.
She was an avid sports fan and loved watching Saints football games. She enjoyed traveling to McNeese State University in the 1980s to watch her son play football. Her daughter was in the McNeese band. She enjoyed reading and sewing as well as traveling with her family.
Of all the things Carolyn did in life, the thing she loved most was spending time with her family and friends; especially her dear friend Ramona Budd. One of her favorite pastimes was talking on the phone. We will all miss her calls.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Jesse Larive of Berwick; four children, Jeslyn Angeron and husband, Danny, of Berwick, Lane Larive and wife, Laura, of Patterson, Jonni Wilkinson and husband, Nathan, of Patterson, and Marae Playe and husband, Raymond, of East Providence, R.I.; seven grandchildren, Shannon Navarro, Brad Angeron, Megan Larive, Hailey Wilkinson, Luke Larive, Kathryn Wilkinson and Daniel Playe; two great-grandchildren, Lauren Navarro and Emma Navarro; and her brother, Merwyn Robicheaux of Morgan City.
