Napoleonville man arrested for unauthorized card use
A Napoleonville man was arrested Tuesday and charged with felony unauthorized use of an access card after he allegedly stole a credit card and used it several times.
Terrance A. Jackson, 35, was arrested in an investigation of a complaint of a stolen credit card.
Assumption Parish Sheriff Mike Waguespack said the victim used the credit card at a Plattenville store and then possibly misplaced it.
When she contacted the bank after she noticed the card was missing, she learned it had been used several times, Waguespack said.
Upon reviewing various store security cameras where the card was used, detectives identified Jackson as the card’s user.
Jackson is accused of using the card at four different stores where he charged in excess of $2,500.
This is an ongoing investigation because detectives are assisting the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s office with an investigation with a case in which they believe Jackson used an access card without authorization in St. Mary Parish.
A Morgan City man was arrested Wednesday and charged with a warrant for unauthorized use of a moveable after he took a car without permission.
