Morgan City 12s top St. Mary Central for district title

The Morgan City 12-year-old All-Stars
clinched the District 3 Majors (12U) Championship Monday with a 6-1 win against St. Mary Central in Franklin. Morgan City finished 3-0 this weekend at the District 3 District Tournament at Caffery Park and will meet St. Mary Central today at 5:30 p.m. for the district title.

Morgan City/Berwick-Bayou Vista youth softball teams

Candy Fleet not only competed in Morgan City Recreation Department 7- and 8-year-old softball action this season, but they were the top team in their age group.
