Morgan City police arrest 3 on drug charges
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reports one arrest in the eastern part of the parish overnight.
—Raphael Chapman Jr., 41, of River Bend Road, Pierre Part, was arrested at 1:39 p.m. Monday on Field Street in Bayou Vista for disturbing the peace intoxicated. The complainant alleges that Chapman was intoxicated and was yelling outside of residences on Field Street. Chapman refused to leave. He remains jailed with a $250 bail.
The Morgan City Police Department made the following arrests overnight, according to Assistant Chief Glenn Blanco:
—Angela Miller, 46, of La. 182 East, Morgan City, was arrested at 7:01 p.m. Monday for probation violation and failure to appear for disturbing the peace. She turned herself in after learning of the warrant. She remains jailed with bail not yet set.
Three Willow Street residents were arrested on drug charges at 11:31 p.m. Monday after officers were called to Willow Street for a disturbance.
—Samantha Williams, 24, of Willow Street, Morgan City, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of cocaine.
—Terry Polk, 39, of Willow Street, Morgan City, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
—Samuel Lacoste, 34, of Willow Street, Morgan City, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cocaine and possession of marijuana.
All three remain jailed with bail not yet set.
The Berwick Police Department reported that it made no arrests overnight, according to Chief James Richard.
