Central Catholic rolls past Gueydan, Morgan City, Berwick fall

Central Catholic was the lone winner on Friday night in Week 10 football action.
The Eagles closed out their District 7-1A season with a 41-14 victory at Gueydan High School.

No. 18 seed Thomas Jefferson upset No. 15 seed Morgan City High School 3-2 (25-22, 19-25, 25-13, 22-25, 13-15) in Division III prep volleyball bi-district action Thursday.

Berwick, Morgan City excel at swim meet

Berwick and Morgan City both excelled at the Southwest Acadiana Swim League’s High School Class 3A and 4A district meet in Lafayette this week.

Morgan City Lady Tigers will meet Thomas Jefferson in first round

Morgan City High School will host a first-round playoff game at 5 p.m. Thursday in

The Morgan City Lady Tigers will begin their postseason play at home Thursday when they face Thomas Jefferson High School out of Harvey.
