Merlin A. Boudreaux

Merlin A. Boudreaux, a native of Morgan City and resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013, in Morgan City at the age of 52.
Merlin is survived by his companion, Ruby Ratcliff; one son, Joseph Boudreaux; his sisters, Winnie Boudreaux Theriot and her husband, Craig Sr., and Wendy Boudreaux Vining and her companion, Steve Brunner; a sister-in-law Georgia Boudreaux; his nieces, who he adored, Rainie Pepperday and Diane Boudreaux; his aunts, Barbara Stansbury, Evelyn Morrison and Delores Boudreaux; his uncle, Arthur “Mike” Bigler Sr.; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends.
Merlin was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Vivian Randal Boudreaux; one son, Chad Michael Boudreaux; one sister, Marjorie Hart Boudreaux; brothers, M.C., Alvin “Boo” and Jody Boudreaux; and grandparents, Edmund and Lydia Hebert Boudreaux, and Abbie and Cecelia Pierron Randall.
The family of Merlin would like to extend their thanks to Haydel Hospice, and his nurse, Carol Haydel, and to Total Pharmacy of Houma, and also to his niece, Rainie Pepperday, for caring for him in his final days.
Visitation will be today, Monday Nov. 25, 2013, at Hargrave Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continuing Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at 8:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Merlin will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
