State Medicaid cuts could cost the state up to $800 million annually, a report released this week by the Louisiana Hospital Association said.

Day of Caring

Oceaneering International participated in the United Way Day of Caring Sept. 18 with a group of six women who volunteered to go to Chez Hope in Franklin.

Early morning crash

A vehicle crashed into Main Street Café in downtown Franklin around 2 a.m. today. Franklin Police report that Logan Savoie, 23, of Cedarwood Street, Franklin, was charged at 2:47 a.m.
