Financial seminars to begin Jan. 15 at library
A series of seven free seminars entitled “Financial Fitness 2014” are being held at the Alex P. Allain Memorial Branch of the St. Mary Parish Library from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday nights
The seminars, sponsored by the City of Franklin, are more than half full. Registration is taking place in the Office of Community Development at city hall and by email until the seminars are full. The maximum for each seminar is 15 people.
According to Arlana Shields, city development director, the seminars are filling up quickly. “Many of them are more than half full. This is a great opportunity to learn more about preparing financially for emergencies, day-to-day expenses and the future.”
To register send an email to email@example.com with name, mailing address, email address, home phone number, cellphone number and the titles of the sessions you would like to attend.
Enrollment will be on a first-come-first-serve basis according to the time and date on the email. Enrollees will receive an email confirming their enrollment or that they’ve been placed on the waiting list.
