Patterson Garden Club hosts District 3 meeting Oct. 15

Janet Boudreaux of Patterson was guest speaker at the Louisiana Garden Club Federation District 3 Fall Luncheon on Oct. 15 in Morgan City. She showed a film by the American Sugar Cane League titled “Making Life Sweeter Naturally,” and answered questions from the audience.
Patterson Garden Club was host to the Louisiana Garden Club Federation District 3 Fall Luncheon on Oct. 15. The event was held at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Numerous district clubs were in attendance.

Patterson Garden Club hosted the Louisiana Garden Club Federation District 3 Fall Luncheon on Oct. 15 at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City. Theme of the meeting was “Raising Cane on the Bayou.”
Guest speaker Janet Boudreaux of Patterson is the wife of sugarcane farmer Anthony Boudreaux. He and their sons have farmed for 44 years.
She showed a film by the American Sugar Cane League titled “Making Life Sweeter Naturally,” and answered questions from the audience.
Program participant Patterson Mayor Pro-tem Sandra Turner gave the official welcome. Patterson Garden Club members Rosa Butler led the invocation, benediction and the blessing, and Evelyn Estay led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Patterson Garden Club President Sandra Marshall presented the host club welcome. Iris Roy, District 3 treasurer and Patterson club member, gave credentials reports.
