Central Catholic High School’s Lady Eagles (7-1A) swooped in for a win Thursday night against the neighboring Berwick High School Lady Panthers (8-3A).

Berwick’s Jordan Lipari scored 17 points, including three, three-point shots, to lead the Lady Panthers in Tuesday's game in Berwick. Berwick (8-3A) lost 30-49 against H.L. Bourgeois (7-5A). They are scheduled to play Friday at 5:30 p.m. in Morgan City against the Central Catholic (7-1A) Lady Eagles.

Panthers continue win streak, defeat Blue Gators 42-36

In boys action, the Panthers defeated the Blue Gators 42-36. Both teams will be defending home court against Christian Life Friday following the boys junior varsity game that tips-off at 5:15 p.m.

Audwin Williams led Berwick High School to a double-overtime win over Ascension Episcopal, 42-36, Thursday in Lafayette. The senior had 14 points and seven rebounds to pace the Panthers.

Donaldsonville blows out Berwick

The Berwick Panthers fell Monday to Donaldsonville 88-44 in District 9-3A action in Berwick.
Berwick trailed 20-6 after a quarter, 43-22 at halftime and 65-34 after three quarters.
