John Henry ‘Charles’ Malveaux

John Henry “Charles” Malveaux, 62, a native of Rosa and resident of Bayou Vista, died at 6:50 p.m. March 11 at his residence.

Visitation will be Saturday at New Zorah Baptist Church in Morgan City from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

He was employed at Conrad in Amelia.

Survivors include three sons, John Davis Sr. and Johnell Williams, both of Bayou Vista and Jeremy Williams of Abbeville; four sisters, Mary Lou Brown and Mrs. Larry Green, both of Morgan City, Shirley Mae Alfred of Patterson and Betty Delco of Lafayette; five brothers, Hayward Malveaux Jr. of Dallas, Joseph Malveaux of Lafayette, Floyd Malveaux of Cottonport, Calvin Malveaux of Baton Rouge and Caston Malveaux of Bayou Vista; and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
