The Patterson Lumberjacks opened District 8-3A action Tuesday with a 3-1 victory against Kaplan at Patterson.
Patterson scored a run each in the first, third and fourth innings.

MCHS sweeps doubleheader with Ellender, 9-2

Morgan City jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the bottom of the first inning.
