Tigers split weekend games; Lady Tigers fall

The Morgan City Tigers split their weekend action, defeating Terrebonne Saturday, 3-0, after dropping their final District 7-II contest of the season to Vandebilt Catholic Friday, 2-0.

CCHS upsets Patterson 45-35

Central Catholic High School upset Patterson High School, 45-35, in high school boys’ basketball action Thursday in Morgan City. New high school soccer power rankings released

The Morgan City Tigers’ and Lady Tigers’ soccer teams both slipped in the latest unofficial Louisiana High School Athletic Association Division II power rankings released Wednesday afternoon. The Tigers slipped two spots in the latest rankings to No. 11, while the Lady Tigers also fell two spots to No. 21.
