Six Tri-City area players earn Louisiana Football Coaches Association All-State honors

Six Tri-City area athletes — three in Class 3A and three more in Class 1A — were honored as all-state selections by the Louisiana Football Coaches Association.

Belle Chasse tops MCHS Lady Tigers soccer team

The Morgan City High School Lady Tigers dropped their regular season finale, 4-3, to Belle Chasse in District 6-III action on the road Monday.

LCA survives CCHS, 35-33

The Central Catholic Lady Eagles fought Lafayette Christian, Class 1A’s seventh-ranked squad, to the end but came up short, 35-33, in District 7-1A action in Morgan City Friday.
