Berwick High School Principal Buffy Fegenbush, Berwick Junior High School Principal Tim Hymel and Assistant Principal Lane Larive all were nominated by the St. Mary Principals Association to partake in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge in honor of former association member Tommy Bourgeois, who succumbed to the disease in January. All three completed the feat during halftime of Berwick High School’s scrimmage with Morgan City High Friday at Geisler Stadium in Berwick. In addition to keynote speaker Jeric Bias, special guests in attendence were NBA draft pick Elfrid Payton of the Orlando Magic and former Morgan City High and current ULL standout Shawn Long.
