Centerville Bulldogs 2-1 on the season

The Centerville Bulldogs improved to 2-1 on the season following an 11-10 win over the Franklin Senior High School Hornets Monday at Franklin Senior High School Hornet Field.

Centerville _ which played all three games on the road _ posted a 7-4 victory over the Episcopal School of Acadiana Falcons in the season opener before falling to the St. James Wildcats by a 5-3 margin on Friday.

Pitchers Caleb LeBlanc and Hunter Carter teamed up to lead the CHS Bulldogs to an 11-10 win over the Franklin Senior High School Hornets Monday at the Franklin Senior High School Field.
LeBlanc hurled three complete innings, earning the mound win while giving up seven runs (3 earned) on five hits with three strikeouts and four walks.
Carter worked four innings, surrendering three runs with none earned on three hits with five strikeouts and three walks.

St. James 5, Centerville 3
St. James _ Centerville dropped its first game of the season by a 5-3 margin to St. James on Friday.
Hunter Carter took the mound loss after going five innings, allowing four runs (one earned) on five hits with eight strikeouts and two walks.
Caleb LeBlanc relieved Carter, hurling one frame, yielding one unearned run with three strikeouts and one walk.
Leading hitters for Centerville were: Carter, 2 for 4, RBI; Courtland Pogue, 1 for 2, RBI and Christian Arias, 1 for 2.
Centerville 7, ESA 4
CADE _ Centerville starting pitcher Caleb LeBlanc offered up five strong innings for the mound win as CHS notched a 7-4 win over the ESA Falcons.
LeBlanc surrendered two earned runs while scattering six hits over five complete frames with four strikeouts and two walks.
Logan Broussard worked the final two frames for the save. Broussard went two innings, giving up one earned run on two hits with two strikeouts and two walks.

Centerville (2-1) will travel to play Highland Baptist on Friday afternoon.
