Gov. Bobby Jindal announces 4 appointments to the Interstate 49 South Feasibility and Funding Task Force

 

BATON ROUGE – Gov. Bobby Jindal announced 4 appointments to the Interstate 49 South Feasibility and Funding Task Force on Friday.

 

The Interstate 49 South Feasibility and Funding Task Force serves to assess the benefits and support of upgrading U.S. 90 to an interstate. Additionally, the task force evaluates what impacts such an upgrade would have on Louisiana, its citizens, and the environment.

 

Appointments to the Interstate 49 South Feasibility and Funding Task Force:

 

Bill Boyd of Houma is the president of Town & Country Real Estate. Boyd will be reappointed to serve as an individual who resides in a community located along the span of U.S. 90 between the Westbank Expressway in New Orleans and I-10 in Lafayette.

 

Charlotte Randolph of Thibodaux is the Lafourche parish president. Randolph will be reappointed to serve as a representative of the Houma Metropolitan Planning Commission.

 

Paul Naquin Jr. of Baldwin is the St. Mary parish president. Naquin will be appointed to serve as an individual who resides in a community located along the span of U.S. 90 between the Westbank Expressway in New Orleans and I-10 in Lafayette.

 

Ricky Huval, Sr., of New Iberia, is the Iberia Parish Assessor. Huval will be appointed to serve as an individual who resides in a community located along the span of U.S. 90 between the Westbank Expressway in New Orleans and I-10 in Lafayette, as required by executive order.
