Glynn E. Mangum, 32, a native of Tacoma, Washington and resident of Houma, died Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center in New Orleans, La.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 7, at New Rising Sun Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Luke Baptist Cemetery - Waterproof.

He is survived by his parents, Henry Sr. and Patricia Ann Granger-Mangum; devoted companion, Dwanyelle Lyons; and three brothers, Rev. Nathan Terry and wife, Michelle; Henry Mangum Jr. and wife, Jepal; and Tyler Mangum; and grandmothers, Sarah Mangum and Janet Granger all of Houma; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Mac Mangum Sr. and Wilbert “Sonny” Granger; brother, Roy Terry Sr.; and godmother, Patricia Ann Douglas.
