The votes are in and in a quite baffling turn of events, America has ceded total control of the political process to the rich … specifically the party of the rich.

You may have thought and you may have been taught that the Republican Party was the party of the rich but you would be wrong – very wrong.

The rich are all about control while Republicans are all about freedom. The rich are all about intolerance while Republicans run the true big tent in politics. Republicans are all about independence and self-sufficiency – which does not sit well with the party of the rich, the Democrats, who are all about power over you and your life.

Democrats run a good con game. After all, most people think the democrats are for the little guy. And they are, as long as the little guy is in their complete control on as tight an economic leash as is legally possible.

The two richest members of Congress control almost $500 million between them, they are both Democrats and neither is a friend of the working man.

Of all the top political contributors of $10 million or more they are virtually all Democrats. The same is true for $1 million contributors and $100,000 contributors. Rich. Democrats.

The current economic crisis started with Democrats tinkering with the Community Reinvestment Act. That tinkering led to their rich friends developing investment vehicles to increase the CRA excesses. The heads of those firms were Democrats. The heads of the large investment banks on Wall St. – Democrats.

Who proposed the current bailout plan? A former head of Goldman-Sachs investment bank named Henry Paulson – a Democrat. Who pushed CRA off the legitimate lending track? Robert Rubin, another former head of Goldman-Sachs and, yes, he’s a Democrat.

If you’re beginning to realize it, the party that should have been unceremoniously thrown out of office this election cycle is the Democrats. In irony of ironies, the party that caused this mess has managed to fool you into trusting them with the whole kit and caboodle. That would make them clever and their supporters fools. And fools and their money are soon parted and the Democrats are about to do some parting.

There is a truthful and longstanding source for all kinds of U.S. information known as the Statistical Abstract of the United States. It keeps ongoing track of all kinds of minutia including the economic standing, taxation, etc. of the nation’s population.

It is very easy to see in the abstract the clear beneficiaries of the Bush tax cuts of 2001 and 2003. In all cases, the tax cuts helped everyone from the bottom up and in fact those at the lowest end of the totem pole reaped the greatest tax reductions. That’s probably not what you’ve been told but that is in fact what happened.

Republicans work hard to see that the hard working get the breaks they deserve. Democrats want you hardly working and just able to feed yourself. That’s because they also want you trapped in the economic basement since one thing they don’t want to see is an independent spirit. You are never welcome at the democratically controlled country club. Their government programs are designed to prevent that from ever happening.

Learn it. Know it. Don’t ever forget it.

But credit must go where credit is due. With a complicit media and a strong aversion to truth, Democrats have asked that the inmates be put in charge of the asylum and the majority of you have complied.
