BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — Dak Prescott's dynamism put a dent in the Death Valley mystique and helped Mississippi State end some long, frustrating streaks.

Lee Delaune, executive director of the Louisiana Shrimp & Petroleum Festival, died Saturday, according to a news release from Nathalie Weber, president of the festival. Weber’s news release emailed Saturday afternoon follows.

With the alligator hunting season edging toward a close, most hunters have filled their tags for the season, and wildlife officials report no citations in this region. Sidney “Peanut” Michel, of Morgan City, said he is finishing up with the last of his nearly 300 tags.

The H&B Young Foundation Scholarship recipient must live within the corporate city limits of Morgan City, have been enrolled in the TOPS core curriculum and must demonstrate above average leadership qualities.
