COC scholarship support

Every year, the 16th Judicial District Attorney and his staff help the St. Mary Chamber raise funds for the Charlie Roe Scholarship Fund. Businesses across the parish donate items for auction that will benefit graduating students that have chosen to further their education. This year the chamber asked the students to “Pay it forward” by donating an item that they made to help fund a scholarship for next year. The art class at Hanson Memorial High School donated a hand painted stool. From left are Iris Sharpe, office manager at the Franklin Chamber Office; Donna F.
