Emma Beauty Harding, 91, a native of Dularge, La. and a native of Houma, died Friday, August 10, 2012 at 6:10 a.m., at her residence.

Emma was the founder, steward and past president of the Woman Day Association of Houma.

Visitation will be held at The First Corinthian Baptist Church in Houma Saturday, August 18, from 9 a.m. until funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the St. Luke Cemetery in Theriot, La.

Emma leaves to cherish her memories a son, Bruce Harding and his wife, Patricia Harding of Houma; four daughters, Harllett H. Crumedy; Hattie and her husband, Reginald Jones; Augustine H. Owens and JoAnn Harding, all of Houma; three sisters, Lillian B. Smith of Richmond Texas, Mercedes B. Moses and Mildred B. Henry, both of Houma; and a host of grandchildren; great grandchildren; and relatives and friends.
