Police Reports 5-5-14

St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported the following arrests:
Paulette Lewis, 45, of 957 Lot A, Friendship Alley, Amelia, was arrested Friday at 11:24 a.m. on a warrant charging her with failure to appear on charges of possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $5,000.
Christina L. Hornsby, 35, of 639 Terrebonne St., Morgan City, was arrested Friday at 4:33 p.m. on a warrant charging her with two counts of issuing worthless checks. She was released on a summons.
Jon A. Sergeant, 63, of 225 Hunting Road, Franklin, was arrested Friday at 9:05 p.m. on a charge of parish vicious dog ordinance violation and released on a summons.
Brett Legendre, 21, of 4934 La. 182, Patterson, was arrested Saturday at 2:27 a.m. on charges of reckless operation, second offense DWI, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set.
Charles Clements, 46, of Carver, Mass., was arrested Saturday at 10:48 a.m. on a charge of theft of goods and released on a summons.
A female, age 16, of Morgan City, was arrested Saturday at 3:18 p.m. on a charge of theft of goods and released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Neal J. Latiolais, 49, of Cecilia, was arrested Saturday at 8:12 p.m. on a charge of disturbing the peace intoxicated and released on a summons.
Raymond Migues Jr., 48, of 440 Field Road, Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 12:56 a.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
Jonathan R. Sanders, 33, of 214 Happy Acres, Lot 5, Baldwin, was arrested Sunday at 6:12 a.m. on charges of disturbing the peace, obstructing a public passage, two counts of resisting an officer, threatening a public official and misuse of 911. No bond was set.
Tyrone Moore, 41, of 140 Mill Road, Patterson, was arrested Sunday at 3:47 a.m. on charges of hit and run, careless operation and simple assault. He was released on $1,750 bond.
Nicole Benedietto, 30, of 151 Uranus St., Bayou Vista, was arrested Sunday at 9:10 a.m. on a failure to appear warrant on charges of traffic light violation and speeding. She was released on $374 bond.
A male, 15, of Patterson, was arrested Sunday at 6 p.m. on charges of ungovernable juvenile-runaway. He was released to guardians pending juvenile court.
Franklin Police Chief Sabria McGuire reported the arrest of Irving Phillips Jr., 29, of Rosemary Street, Franklin, Sunday at 2:05 p.m. on a charge of domestic abuse battery. No bond was set.
The Criminal Investigation Division Technology Unit of Franklin police, with assistance from the St. Mary Parish Sheriff’s Office, arrested Kevin Lashawn James, 28, of 813 Iberia St., on a charge of indecent behavior with juveniles and computer aided solicitation of a minor for sexual purposes. Detectives reportedly searched his cellphone and located evidence involving a 16-year-old juvenile.
He also reportedly contacted the juvenile in person and on social media.
James was released on $50,000 bond.
