Bayou Vista woman jailed for battery, resisting officer

A 37-year-old Bayou Vista woman was arrested Wednesday after she scratched a woman on the neck and then resisted arrest, St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert said in a news release.
—Rhonda Lodrigue, 37, of the 100 block of Two Sisters Court in Bayou Vista, was arrested at 6:11 p.m. Wednesday for simple battery and resisting an officer. A deputy responded to a complaint of a disturbance at a residence on Saturn Road in Bayou Vista.
The deputy determined that Lodrigue scratched a female victim on the neck. During her arrest, Lodrigue repeatedly pulled away from the deputy, Hebert said. Lodrigue was jailed with bail set at $1,500.
St. Mary Parish Sheriff Mark Hebert reported responding to 39 complaints in the parish and reported the following arrest in east St. Mary Parish:
—Leonell Walker, 37, of the 600 block of Kelli Drive in Patterson, was arrested at 3:21 p.m. Wednesday on four warrants for issuing worthless checks. Walker turned herself in to a deputy in Patterson after learning of the warrants for her arrest. Walker was released on a summons to appear in court July 11.
Morgan City Police Chief Michael Banks reported the following arrests:
—David L. Robicheaux, 72, of Morgan City, was arrested at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday for hit and run driving.
Officers were dispatched to a parking lot located on Sacred Heart Drive in Morgan City in regard to damage to property. Officers learned that someone’s vehicle had been struck while parked and that the person responsible had left the scene.
Officers were able to identify a suspect through surveillance camera footage as Robicheaux. Robicheaux was summoned back to the scene. He admitted striking the vehicle and leaving the scene after observing the damage caused, Banks said. He was jailed and released on cash bail.
—Gregory Johnson, 22, of La. 182 in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday for disturbing the peace.
—Shanice Marshall, 21, of Third Street in Morgan City, was arrested at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday for disturbing the peace.
Officers were dispatched to a La. 182 apartment building in regard to a disturbance. Officers arrived and learned that Shanice Marshall and Gregory Johnson had been involved in an altercation and disturbance earlier. The disturbance resulted in a glass window being broken and the gathering of several bystanders, Banks said. Both were jailed.
Patterson Police Chief Patrick LaSalle reported the following arrests:
—A male juvenile, 14, of the 1800 block of K Street in Patterson, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. today for a curfew violation. He was released to a guardian.
—A male juvenile, 16, of the 1300 block of Ninth Street in Patterson, was arrested at 12:03 a.m. today for a curfew violation and possession of a tobacco product by a person under age 18. He was released to a guardian.
—Calvin Griffin, 38, of the 1400 block of Live Oak Street in Patterson, was arrested at 2:31 p.m. Wednesday for remaining where forbidden. Griffin was jailed with bail set at $294.
Berwick Police Chief James Richard reported no arrests.
