Patterson hopes to take a big step forward Friday against Catholic High-New Iberia after falling in consecutive weeks to Class 5A teams.

Patterson roared back from 14 points down twice to outlast Catholic High-New Iberia, 42-41.
The teams combined for nearly 1,000 yards of total offense in the heart-stopping game.
