Broussard-Daigle exchange vows at Holy Cross
Katlin Broussard and Joseph Daigle were married Oct. 22 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City. The Rev. Danny Poche officiated the 1 p.m. double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Chet and Tonya Broussard of Berwick. The groom is the son of Lance and Crystal Daigle of Morgan City.
For the occasion, church pews were adorned with fuchsia and cream bows.
Music was by guitarist and vocalist Flo Ohmer and vocalist Tonya Broussard.
Escorted in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory gown designed with a beaded bodice with off-the-shoulder straps. Ruching accented the long train.
She carried pink stargazer lilies, and pink and ivory roses.
Kristen Broussard was her sister’s maid of honor. She wore a black mermaid dress with a fuchsia sash. Her flowers were light pink and fuchsia roses.
Logan Daigle, brother of the groom, was best man.
A reception followed at the Petroleum Club of Morgan City.
The wedding cake was a white four-tiered confection with buttercream icing adorned with light pink and fuchsia sunflowers between each tier.
Tina Comeaux served the cake.
Prior to the wedding, the groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the Holiday Inn in Morgan City.
The bride is a graduate of Berwick High School and Nicholls State University in Thibodaux. She is a register nurse at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.
The groom is a graduate of Morgan City High School and Young Memorial Technical College. He is a mechanical tech for Oceaneering.
They honeymooned in Orlando, Fla., and reside in Morgan City.
