Mrs. Boudreaux was born Nov. 20, 1933, to Oliver Edwin and Lois Pye Boudreaux. She married Folse R. Boudreaux of Morgan City on Sept. 23, 1951, in Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband; her parents; brother, Oliver Edwin Boudreaux Jr.; and brother-in-law, Leon Joseph Trahan Jr.
She was the loving and devoted mother of Jill and Harold Sonnier of Flower Mound, Texas, Kevin and Sylvia Boudreaux of Jacksonville, Fla., Brian and Lisa Boudreaux of Sulphur, Mark and Danna Boudreaux of Hartselle, Ala., Brett and Jamie Boudreaux of Lake Charles and Melissa and Steve Bell of Mesquite, Texas. Mrs. Boudreaux attended Terrebonne High School, where she played basketball and later graduated from Thibodaux High School. She was a second mother to her siblings — always loving, caring and giving. She was an avid reader throughout her life, reading to her siblings during their youth and caring for them while her parents worked. She kept their days busy by visiting neighbors and relatives and even bringing them to events like the circus.
While creating a loving home for her family, she found time for many other activities such as an ambassador and volunteer for the Smoky Mountains Parks & Recreations Department (1990-2004); the Petroleum Club Wives of Corpus Christi, Texas, serving as treasurer; the Thibodaux High School Band Boosters Club (1969-1979), a representative for Avon Products Inc. in the 1970s and as a motivational speaker for Weight Watchers International Inc. in the 1960s. She was a member of prayer and Bible study groups in Thibodaux over the years.
Mrs. Boudreaux was an avid traveler and experienced many cherished years camping across the United States and Canada with her husband in their fifth-wheeler. She is loved and dearly missed by her devoted family and dear friends.
